The UoL Pet Chemo App is an exclusive app designed for helping owners in monitoring chemotherapy side effects in pets with cancer. This has been built specifically for users of the Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH) of Liverpool University.

At a certain point of a pets life, owners may face the difficulty of dealing with a diagnosis of cancer and being offered chemotherapy as part of an individualised treatment plan. The quality of life of their pet remains the main priority, regardless of the treatment strategy considered as more appropriate for the specific case. When treating cancer, the goal should be to increase quality of life and, this needs to be assessed throughout the treatment program, and adjustments may need to be made to support that goal.
