ActivePrint facilitates printing directly from your iPhone or iPad, and it lets you share documents and photos with many other devices. With a highly intuitive interface, this app is accessible to users of all experience levels, and it creates connections between your mobile devices and your PC to greatly ease the printing and sharing process.

When you first open ActivePrint, you'll view a few short tutorial pages explaining the basic features of the app and how to access them. You'll then have to sign in or set up a free account by entering your username, password and e-mail address. To print from your phone or tablet, you'll have to install a partner app for whatever computer you have hooked up to a printer. This partner app is free, and there are versions for both Macs and PCs. To select the files you want to print, you can go into ActivePrint and search for the document, or you can choose to open with ActivePrint, directly from the document or photo you want to print.
